While things may seem to have gone quiet, there has actually been a lot of background work going on which I’m sure you will want to hear a bit about.

Our funds stand at a very healthy balance thanks to everyone’s hard work and generosity.

Most recently we had a Fiddle and Accordion evening in the Parish Hall by a music group from Durris. It proved to be a really enjoyable evening with stories, poems and jokes as well as music and we made over £250.

We plan to organize this again and will let you know the date as soon as it is arranged. Bill Anderson will take the service as usual and if anyone would like to request a favourite hymn or recommend a youngster to give a reading, let one of the committee know.
